I don't really have a fix for your problem, but since this seems to be a fairly widespread issue my suggestions would be:ġ) Try installing a different version of Premier. (Yes I'm one of those editors that used it frequently and would love to stick to Premiere 21 until Adobe comes to senses and actually fixes that Q button.) The HEVC files will play without issue on Premiere 22 on the new PC but I'm not willing to switch over because of the Q button ripple delete shortcut they "fixed". I have updated all drivers and even tried installing other codecs to no avail, so any help or guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I found that I had installed K-Lite codec pack on my previous PC so I did the same on the new one but it still wouldn't play H265 files. It fails to import and keeps telling me that the HEVC codec is missing. ![]() Only problem is that now the HEVC files wouldn't play on Premiere 21 anymore. This is my upgraded PC that I put together last week: I had Premiere Pro 2021 installed on the PC and it played HEVC mp4 files without issue. I recently upgraded from my soon-to-be-outdated-but-still-worth-it editing rig which was: I'm a video editor and I use Premiere Pro to edit all my videos (honestly I'm stuck with Adobe just like LTT) ![]() Hi all, after scouring the internet and failing at finding a solution, I'm hoping to find some answers here. ![]()
